1RM calculator

Weight and reps from one set — and I'll work out your estimated one-rep max (e1RM) with the same formula the diary uses.

How I count

By default it's the Epley formula: weight × (1 + reps ÷ 30). Brzycki is weight × 36 ÷ (37 − reps); it runs high on long sets, so past 10 reps I switch to Epley — at 10 reps the two give the same number.

RPE says how many reps you had left: @9 is one, @8 is two. The formula gets the reps to failure, but I cap the reserve at five. Sets longer than 12 reps don't count: the formulas are fitted to low reps.

In the diary you pick the formula in 🔧 Settings — I use it for your records and charts.

Log your sets in the bot — I'll count your estimated max, tonnage and records myself.
